1. From 1st of March, 2021 National Health Insurance Service is applied to all international students and foreign people who have Korean Visa.

2. Date when National Health Insurance Service is applied
- - A student who entered Republic of Korea with Visa for the first time: On the date of Alien Registration
- - A students who came to Republic of Korea again after alien registration: On the date the student arrive in Korea
- * National Health Insurance Service is automatically initiated and insurance certificate & guide are delivered to the residential address.
- * Undergraduate/graduate/exchange students should pay for a commercial medical insurance before alien registration. Institute of International Education will help students subscribe to a commercial insurance service.
- * National Health Insurance Service is applied to students of Korean Language Course(D-4) 6 months after they arrive in Korea. Thus, students of Korean Language course should subscribe to a commercial insurance for six months.

3. Bill for National Health Insurance Service
: Bill is delivered to residential address and students change the mothods of receiving their bills into email or mobile.

4. Mothods of payment for National Health Insurance Service
: Remittance, Automatic withdrawal, visiting a bank and visiting an office of National Health Insurance Service
- 5. Deadline for payment: by 25th of every month for next month's service

6. Service details:
Foreign people receive the same services as Korean people do.
- Students pay for a part of cost of dental treatment, oriental medical treatment, medical examination or obstetrics treatment.

7. Penalty of non-payment for National Health Insurance Service
- 1) Extension of Visa or stay in Republic of Korea is limited.
- 2) Insurance service is stopped from 1st of next month.
- 3) Non-payment persists, personal property can be seized and he/she can be forced to pay.

8. Counselling on National Health Insurance Service
: Students can talk in English, Chinese, Vietnamese and Uzbek at 033-811-2000 from 09:00 to 18:00 during weekdays.
