Part-time Job

1. If you're a international student holding D-2 or D-4 Visa, a certain level of TOPIK and GPA are required to do a part-time job.
- - A freshman or sophomore should have TOPIK level 3 or above, and a junior or senior should have TOPIK level 4 or above. If a student's TOPIK level is below than the qualification, he/she can do a part-time job for the half of normally allowed time.
- - GPA needs to be more than 2.0.
- 2. A students must have written employment contract which includes hourly salary, tasks and working hours. Students need to fill out Part-time Work of Foreign Student Confirmation Form and get permission from a staff member of Institute of International Education which is located at room 306 of Building K2.
- 3. After getting permission from a staff member of Institute of International Education, students will need to submit required documents to Cheongju Immigration Office.
- 4. Students who exceptionally extended length of sojourn in Republic of Korea due to failure of graduation within regular semesters can't do part-time job.
- 5. Students can start doing a part-time job after 6 months of admittance. Students can work for a total of 25 hours per week during weekdays and for unlimited hours on weekends.
- 6. Students are not allowed to do a part-time job in Construction and Manufacturing fields. If violation related to part-time job is found, the student should leave Republic of Korea, eligiblity for international student can be canceled, or D-10 Visa can't be given.
